Star was founded in 1995 and soon after won the 'Network Product of the Year' with NetStar at the Networking Industry Awards. In 2000, Star formed MessageLabs with a single purpose to find a better way to stop the new breed of viruses that were rapidly spreading throughout the business world.  In 2007, Star gained independence from the MessageLabs group with the aim of focusing on MPLS technology. Star is supporting the growth of its customers' networks, by delivering a secure managed network that connects multiple sites and gives totally resilient access to the web through a central data centre environment.
